Water Project Lead

We are seeking a Lead Engineer to lead water and wastewater project delivery, business development, and mentoring within our Northern Australia water team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for securing a pipeline of work for our group in line with our business plan and delivering work to the satisfaction of our clients.
You will represent our organization in client-facing roles to local Northern Territory water clients as a trusted advisor, strengthening client relationships.
A key aspect of this role is actively directing and defining the scope of water projects, designing innovative technical solutions, and leading project design teams to deliver outcomes.
You will also lead the development and submission of proposals for new projects, mentor and develop less experienced team members, and collaborate with colleagues across service lines.
Key Responsibilities- Securing a pipeline of work in line with our business plan
- Representing our organization in client-facing roles
- Actively directing and defining the scope of water projects
- Leading project design teams to deliver outcomes
- Mentoring and developing less experienced team members
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related field; eligible for or holding the relevant engineering registration where applicable
- Significant experience in technical leadership and management of water engineering projects
- Extensive knowledge of applicable standards and familiarity with industry best practice
- Ability to cross sell and identify new service offerings
- A valid driver's license
