This role is based in our Darwin office.
About youThis opportunity is for second or third year engineering students keen to pursue a career in flooding and water resources.
- Studying a degree in civil, environmental or software engineering
- Basic conceptual understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic processes
- Exposure to spatial software such as QGIS and / or 12D
- Exposure to programming languages such as Python
- Awareness of TUFLOW, URBS, XP-RAFTS, HEC-RAS, MIKE FLOOD, GoldSim
- Understanding of surface water projects and customer needs
- Developing communication skills
- Seeking a culture of high performance and employee engagement
- Awareness of the Australian water industry, markets and competitors.
