Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecologist to join our dynamic team.

As a key member of our ecological team, you will assist in problem-solving and devising solutions to complex ecological issues, prepare proposals, review reports, or conduct field investigations across various terrestrial ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills, an undergraduate degree in a related field, with high levels of academic achievement, and a minimum of eight to ten years of professional experience in ecological or environmental consulting.

  • Contribute to high-level reporting and provide ecological advice
  • Support the identification of environmental constraints and opportunities across multiple projects
  • Mentor staff and work with/lead inter-disciplinary project teams
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proven ability to write clear, concise, and scientifically accurate reports
  • Advanced ability to produce high-quality reports and review reports prepared by others
  • Extensive experience in delivering all aspects and scales of ecological field surveys and statutory assessments
  • Expertise in flora and fauna identification, vegetation mapping, plant community types, and complex ecological assessments
