Job Title: Senior Patient Care SpecialistJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our residential aged care facility. As a Senior Patient Care Specialist, you will lead by example and set the standard for exceptional nursing practice.Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized patient care that promotes dignity, respect, and well-being.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and excellent patient outcomes.
  • Provide coaching, supervision, and guidance to less experienced staff members to enhance their skills and confidence.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Thorough knowledge of aged care legislation, Aged Care Quality Standards, and AN-ACC assessment processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical nursing practices, particularly in gerontological nursing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
