Process Quality Engineer Job Description

The Process Quality Engineer role is a key position in our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our products. This involves developing and implementing quality plans, conducting process validation activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality plans to ensure harmonized requirements between manufacturing processes, customers, and engineering.
  • Conduct process validation activities, including AS9102 FAIR, PPAP, and Gage R&R studies.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering, Manufacturing, and Inspection teams to support their processes and advise on quality requirements.
  • Participate in plant cost reduction initiatives through Kaizen events, six sigma project support, and engineering project leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient in AS9102 FAIR, PPAP, and Process Validation activities.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering required.
  • Associate's degree with 3 years relevant quality or manufacturing experience preferred.
