Job Overview

The role of Board Secretary is vital in strengthening governance by managing administration, compliance, and record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage board administration, compliance, and record-keeping
  • Prepare accurate and high-quality board papers, minutes, and documentation
  • Work effectively with the Board, Executive Officer, and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar Executive Assistant role, ideally within the not-for-profit or public sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with board management platforms and minute-taking software
  • A solid understanding of governance principles and best practice

About Governance

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective governance of the organization, including managing board administration, compliance, and record-keeping.

You will also be required to prepare accurate and high-quality board papers, minutes, and documentation, as well as work effectively with the Board, Executive Officer, and external stakeholders.
