Job Title: Healthcare Governance Professional

 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Governance Manager to join our organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to develop, implement and monitor clinical governance systems, policies, procedures and processes across our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care delivery to vulnerable populations, meeting their unique needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor clinical governance systems, policies, procedures and processes
  • Ensure safe and effective services delivery to people with disabilities, adhering to National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical governance systems and processes, ensuring regular review and updates reflecting best practice and changing requirements
  • Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders on clinical governance matters
  • Contribute to organisational governance systems relating to information management, continuous improvement, workforce, regulatory compliance, feedback and complaints
  • Develop and deliver training programs on clinical governance issues
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical outcomes and performance metrics

 

Requirements:

Tertiary Qualification:

A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g., nursing, allied health, health management)

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in clinical governance, risk management, incident management and quality improvement in a healthcare, disability or aged care setting

Skills:

Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

Demonstrated ability to identify and manage risk, and develop strategies to prevent adverse events

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyse complex data and information

Strong project management experience

High level of computer literacy, including experience with clinical information systems and databases
