About the Role

We're seeking an experienced leader to join our team as the Head of Tailored Lending. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering and overseeing an end-to-end service for consumers, from assessment to fulfilment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate complex loan applications, including commercial, trust, and company loans.
  • Communicate with customers and brokers to workshop applications and provide decision outcomes.
  • Manage a pipeline of applications, ensuring a seamless journey for customers and brokers.
  • Ensure all risk and compliance standards are maintained.
  • Support colleagues and contribute to the performance of the team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8-10 years of residential credit assessment experience, with a focus on self-employed applications.
  • Experience assessing complex loans and reading financial statements.
  • Delegated Lending Authority.
  • Confidence in communicating with customers and brokers.
  • Ability to work within policy and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Experience managing a pipeline of assessment applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
