Senior Project Estimator Job

This is a challenging mid-senior level role that requires excellent skills in project estimation, tender preparation, and team coordination. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of complex projects across various industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and submit tenders for building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, and environmental projects.
  • Evaluate and improve the estimating process for cost-effectiveness.
  • Negotiate with clients and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Create budgets and assess contract variations.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5-10+ years of management experience in civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+
  • Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
