Job Overview

Role Description:

We seek a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to provide expert clinical input into the development, delivery, management and evaluation of rural emergency nursing programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate project plans.
  • Provide clinical expertise in rural and emergency nursing, as well as leadership.
  • Develop and deliver education programs.
  • Manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
  • Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Travel and drive as required, including potential long distances and overnight stays.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with tertiary nursing qualifications in Emergency Nursing and at least 3 years full-time equivalent experience in the specialty field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in rural and emergency nursing and leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of education programs.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including stakeholder engagement and evaluation.
  • High-level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' license and the ability to maintain it.
