Job Title: Specialist Anaesthetist

We are seeking an experienced anaesthetist to lead our medical team at a 29-bed acute care hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist anaesthetic services to patients presenting to the facility.
  • Balance clinical responsibilities with developing the service and take a leading role in clinical governance, service design projects, delivery of a top-class education framework for other medical officers.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
Requirements:
  • Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia or overseas trained specialist pathways.
  • Effective clinical communication through written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Significant experience relevant to Anaesthesia practice and evidence of competence in skills relevant to Australian rural hospital practice, including trauma and emergency scenarios.

The hospital provides emergency medicine, surgery, inpatient services, renal dialysis, pathology collection, pharmacy, and medical imaging services.
