The Opportunity- We are offering a permanent position for an Engineering professional to join our manufacturing division. As part of a larger cohort of Engineering talent, the successful candidate will work collaboratively across a diverse group of people to develop stable and reliable manufacturing processes, support supply chain or manufacturing improvement projects and ensure that we continue to have the capabilities to manufacture increasing volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safe, scalable, stable, and robust manufacturing processes across the manufacturing network for new and commercially available products.
- Support the introduction of new processes, equipment, and materials including installation, calibration, assessment, and debug, and ensure all associated process and quality system documentation requirements comply with our Quality Management System.
- You will plan and develop engineering work packages concerned with unique problems or team challenges, which have an important impact on moderate to large programs.
- Support the execution and documentation of process validation builds, co-ordinate testing of characterisation, verification, and validation units and compile, analyse, and report on results.
- Responsible for meeting the manufacturing network optimisation strategy by relocating/duplicating processes across the manufacturing network, in line with project objectives, target, and timeline within the area of expertise.
- Support the development and execution of experimentation and testing to enable characterisation, optimisation, and troubleshooting of processes and equipment. Summarise, analyse, and draw conclusions from test results leading to effective technical resolution.
About You
To add value to our company in this role, you'll be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent, ideally with demonstrated experience in a similar process development engineering role within a highly regulated industry.
- An engineering professional who applies scientific & engineering knowledge, mathematics & statistical ingenuity to complete projects.
- Demonstrable basic technical expertise on process/product technologies to support design, optimisation, validation, and troubleshooting of emergent issues that arise within those technologies.
- Ideally, good working knowledge of Design for Six Sigma, Lean, KT Problem Solving & Decision Making, PDCA, DOE's and demonstrable experience in the application of these tools in the characterisation, optimisation, and troubleshooting of process equipment and technology performance.
