About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Services Assistant to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and home-like living environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning services according to established schedules, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Maintain floors, carpets, and other surfaces through regular mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
  • Assist with laundry practices and maintain records of completion of cleaning schedule duties.
  • Ensure safe storage and use of cleaning agents, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Contribute to a safe environment by ensuring equipment does not obstruct exits and passageways.
Requirements
  • Training or experience in cleaning, with a focus on residential aged care.
  • Current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire.
  • Knowledge and experience in chemical handling.
  • Experience working in a similar environment.
