Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning: Contribute to the development of menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, serve, and present food and refreshments in accordance with our Food Safety Program.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in accordance with our Food Safety Program.
- Monitoring and Recording: Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of our Food Safety Program, including temperature recording and inventory management.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and timely delivery of meals and refreshments to all residents.
- Quality Review: Participate in the ongoing quality review of our Food Safety Program.
- Reporting: Report any concerns or difficulties experienced with residents in relation to food and beverages to the Registered Nurse In Charge.
- Food Handling Certificate: Possession of a current Food Handling Certificate.
- Police Certificate: Possession of a current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire.
- Experience: Experience in residential aged care food services or hospitality/catering.
