Job Description

We are seeking a Product Sourcing Quality Director to lead our global Product Sourcing Quality Team.

As a leader in the design, manufacture, and supply of wear products and services for mining equipment, we provide innovative solutions to our customers.

The successful candidate will develop and implement quality strategies to ensure product quality from external suppliers.

The role involves leading the global quality team to promote quality systems, processes, and compliance.

You will mentor and develop team members, provide training on quality standards and procedures, and implement global training programs.

Collaborating with the global product sourcing team, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness.

The Product Sourcing Quality Director will set quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and suppliers.

Working closely with the broader Product Sourcing team, you will support the qualification of external suppliers to produce Bradken's products.

The role requires strong knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement tools.

You will have demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement projects and manage cross-functional teams.

Key Technical Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Management
  • Proven supervisory experience in leading and managing teams, including training and mentoring staff.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 standards and QMS implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement projects and manage cross-functional teams
