**Job Description**
This leadership role involves leading the global Product Sourcing Quality Team. As the leader, you will develop and implement quality strategies to ensure product quality from external suppliers.
You will promote quality systems, processes, and compliance, guiding the team, suppliers, and the business using your understanding of quality management principles.
Mentor and develop team members by providing training on quality standards and procedures.
Implement global training programs and foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness within the team.
Set quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and suppliers, ensuring all quality projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Work closely with the broader Product Sourcing team to support the qualification of external suppliers to produce Bradken's products.
Develop and implement risk-based supplier quality performance guidelines to ensure external suppliers meet defined quality requirements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, stay informed of changes, and update quality processes accordingly.
**Requirements**
We are looking for candidates with:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, Manufacturing or Quality Management
- Proven supervisory experience in leading and managing teams, including training and mentoring staff.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 standards and QMS implementation.
- Strong knowledge of statistical process control and quality improvement tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement projects and manage cross-functional teams.
