About this Role:

This key position within our internal communications team is responsible for developing and executing employee engagement initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive work environment.

The successful candidate will deliver a strategic approach to employee communications, promoting organisational priorities and inspiring our people.

This 12-month fixed-term opportunity presents a vital role in supporting our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive employee engagement through increased understanding of organisational priorities
  • Support implementation and coordination of the internal communication strategy
  • Produce compelling content and messaging for various channels
  • Develop creative content to communicate complex projects and technical information
  • Project management planning across a calendar year to optimise internal campaigns and events
  • Develop and implement internal communications plans for key projects
  • Regularly engage with all business units to share employee stories and updates
  • Provide advice on communication materials and delivery strategies
  • Research and implement best practice strategies to improve internal communications

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in communications or a related field
  • Demonstrated copywriting experience for varied audience groups and platforms
  • Knowledge of editing, video, and photography tools
  • Demonstrated experience managing a SharePoint intranet environment
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
