IT Service Operations Role

The position of IT Services Officer involves effective management of IT services to ensure seamless operations and support for healthcare organizations.

Our client prioritizes the optimization of IT processes, enhancement of user experience, and maximization of technology investments. The role is accountable to the Storage & Compute Manager.

The primary purpose of this role is to administer and develop the user operating environment, collaboration services, enterprise services, and IP telephony.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Infrastructure Compute Hardware and software
  • Administer Maintain Hyper Converged Infrastructure
  • Administer & Support a large server fleet
  • Administer and maintain Active Directory
  • Create and update Group Policies
  • Assist with SCCM deployment and enhancement
  • Support & maintain a large Citrix VDI deployment
  • Support Citrix Workstation Environment
  • Participate in the implementation and operations of high availability plans for all services
  • Participate in the implementation and operations of security risk mitigation systems and processes
  • Participate in a scheduled on call roster
  • Assist to plan risk mitigation processes (eg change management)
  • Assist to plan for disaster recovery runbooks and regular 'fire drills' to test DR procedures and systems

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology
  • Experience in the use of Server Virtualization Software, (VMWARE / AHV) via tertiary education or industry experience
  • Experience working with vRealize Operations Manager
  • Experience working with Citrix XEN App in a large deployment
  • Experience working with SANs and Blade Server Platforms
  • Experience maintaining Active Directory, SCCM Application Deployment
  • Experience operating & maintaining Hyper Converged Infrastructure

Desirable:

  • 3+ year(s) working in the IT industry
  • Some experience with disaster recovery, high availability processes
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining Imprivata
  • Experience in Citrix WEM
  • Experience with FSLogix
  • Experience with Control Up
  • SCCM Package Creation and deployment experience
