Job Title: Transaction Coordinator

This role plays a crucial part in the council's property strategy, providing advice and coordination to deliver priority projects.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that property transactions are undertaken efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in asset/property management, as well as strong research, organisational, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advice and coordination to deliver the council's property strategy and other priority projects.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure efficient and effective property transactions.
  • Negotiate leases, licences and other tenure documentation.
  • Experience in local government property disposal acquisitions, including easements and road closures.

The successful applicant will be required to have:

  • Rlevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in asset/property management.
  • A Class C drivers license.
  • Proven experience in negotiating leases, licences and other tenure documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research, organisational, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, computerised records and databases.
