We're looking for skilled Drivers who will provide reliable and safe movement of fleet and equipment between sites and projects on the East Coast of Australia. Our ideal candidate will be based at our Depot, working a 5/2 roster, and may be required to stay overnight when on the road and travel interstate from time to time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate plant safely, efficiently, and to guidelines;
  • Be the subject matter expert on vehicle movements within the region;
  • Train new staff and assist with training as required;
  • Undertake tasks around the Depot including manufacturing, loading and unloading trucks, conducting maintenance work orders and general yard work.
Requirements
  • A current Heavy Combination licence;
  • A Forklift licence and experience in operation;
  • Previous experience driving a trailer or float and transporting heavy equipment would be highly regarded;
  • A practical understanding of permit requirements for over-dimensional loads;
  • The ability to obtain a Permit to Work;
  • A clean record in order to obtain a Dangerous Goods and Explosives licence;
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening;
  • Sound mechanical aptitude.
