Job Title: Mobile Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technician to join our team in Mount Isa. As a mobile equipment technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance of our clients' fleets of specialist mining equipment.


The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical principles and have previous experience working on Sandvik Underground mining equipment. You will be required to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of machines, as well as work effectively in a team environment or autonomously.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on various types of mining equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians to achieve common goals.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for improving maintenance procedures.

Requirements:
  • Australian recognized Mechanical Trade Certification.
  • Previous experience working with Sandvik Underground mining equipment an advantage.
  • Strong safety culture and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Class C Manual Driver's License required.
