Role Overview:

This role will see you lead a team of engineers on a range of mining and infrastructure engineering design projects based in Brisbane. You'll ensure engineering design outcomes meet client needs, legal compliance, quality requirements, and are fit for purpose.

Develop strong project-level client relationships and participate in staff development activities to help them realize their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of engineers on a broad range of mining and infrastructure engineering design projects.
  • Ensure engineering design outcomes meet client needs, legal compliance, quality requirements, and are fit for purpose.

  • Continuously develop technical standards and design processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional experience in a consultancy environment in civil mining infrastructure in a team leader or similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ).
  • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering to deliver a broad range of civil engineering projects.
  • Ability to build relationships and develop business.

To succeed in this role, you'll be an independent thinker able to challenge norms and develop new ideas to progress environmentally sustainable engineering solutions.
