Job Overview

This role leads a team in delivering casework support to individuals, families, and carers using a strengths-based approach. The team addresses complex issues like child protection, housing, income support, mental health, and healthcare.

  • Demonstrated case management knowledge and experience within the community services sector, including foster and kinship care, housing and homelessness, disability support, mental health, domestic and family violence, parenting, and community development.
  • A commitment to client-centred and solution-focused case management approaches to service delivery and development.
  • Ability to lead, manage, and develop a team, including staff management, administration, and financial management.

As a key member of the Service Management Team, this role participates in Organisation Management on a rotational basis and is expected to be available for an on-call roster.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Services or relevant field.
  • Cultural competency, including understanding and experience working with diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, along with a collaborative approach to management.
