Marsden State School is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Community Engagement Officer. This key role plays a vital part in fostering partnerships between children, parents, and educators, laying the foundation for future success.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment that promotes positive relationships with staff, community members, and families. This includes interacting positively with parents, children, colleagues, and community members, and working collaboratively with internal staff and external agencies to deliver co-located and coordinated services.

An essential aspect of this role is establishing and facilitating local community partnership groups. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain effective relationships with community members, services, funding agencies, and early years networks, leading collaborative planning to respond effectively to family needs.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to promote early years hub and community activities. A high level of organizational skill is also required, with the ability to coordinate activities, programs, or events based on family needs, interests, and program outcomes.
