Team Lead Opportunity

This role involves leading a team responsible for ensuring trolleys are available and stores are maintained in pristine condition, providing a clean environment for customers and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to deliver trolley collection and cleaning services to set stores
  • Develop leadership capabilities by delivering people-related activities for the team (recruiting, rostering, coaching)
  • Act as a coach and mentor to team members, developing their skills across trolley collection, cleaning, and waste support
  • Set team rosters to ensure coverage of daily tasks and operations
  • Work with Store Leadership teams to understand challenges, opportunities, and priorities
  • Interact with customers, including showing them to shopping aisles or assisting with spills
  • Liaise between Support Office, Store Leadership Teams, team members, and customers, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

  • A physically demanding role requiring work in various environments
  • Experience in supervisory or team leader roles, but aspiring leaders encouraged to apply
  • Direct support from Group Manager to develop leadership skills
  • Attributes: good eye for cleanliness, confidence to engage with other managers, organisational skills, ability to work varied shifts, comfort working with regulated frameworks, valid driver's license (helpful but not required)
