Leadership Opportunity

The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of sport and lifestyle programs for diverse age groups at a recreation centre.

This role involves coordinating teams to create customer-centric environments, fostering relationships with community members, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Effective monitoring, response, and reporting on program and business development objectives are key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate high-quality sport and lifestyle programs for all age groups.
  • Lead the team in creating a customer-centric environment through strategic planning and execution.
  • Build strong, mutually beneficial relationships with community members.
  • Ensure ongoing improvement in service delivery.
  • Monitor, respond to, and report on program and business development objectives.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive understanding of sports and programs within a recreation setting.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, including motivating team members, setting clear goals, and providing guidance and support.
  • Strong organisational skills to effectively plan, coordinate, and manage both personal tasks and team tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, to convey information, provide feedback, and maintain open lines of communication.
  • Experience promoting innovative programs/services that drive growth.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Recreation, or equivalent level of experience.
  • First Aid Certificate, Police Clearance, and Driver's Licence required.
