As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in assessing participants' functional levels and developing tailored treatment plans to promote independence and participation in daily activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting clinical observations and standardized assessments to identify participants' strengths and needs
- Formulating treatment goals that are unique to each participant and aligned with their individual outcomes
- Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support participants' development and well-being
- Supporting participants in adapting to their environment, including home, school, and work settings
- Recommending assistive technology to enhance participants' functional abilities and promote independence
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
- A passion for working in the disability sector and making a meaningful difference in people's lives
