Job OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team in Katoomba and the Lower Blue Mountains region. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering outstanding service to our participants.
The role involves assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function through clinical observations and standardized assessments. You will interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant's requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Providing support and advice on environmental adaptations, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommending assistive technology to promote independence and alleviate functional limitations.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, motivated by continuous improvement and the opportunity to learn from new ideas.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
