We are seeking a skilled Counselling Professional to deliver high-quality, evidence-based counselling services. As a Counselling Professional, you will collaborate with carers to provide supportive and tailored interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions for carers
  • Develop and implement collaborative counselling plans that address specific needs
  • Maintain accurate clinical case notes and records, including wellbeing screenings
  • Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Deliver group programs addressing general wellbeing, skills training, or specific needs
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in psychology, counselling, psychotherapy, or social work
  • Registration with a relevant professional body, such as APHRA or AASW
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in counselling
  • Experience in group interventions, facilitation skills, risk assessment, and crisis management
  • Understanding of inclusive, person-centred, and trauma-informed practices for diverse populations
  • Demonstrated competence in Person-Centred and CBT; additional training in facilitation and approaches is desirable
