About Our School
We are a K-12 Christian school located on the Mid North Coast of NSW, committed to partnering with families and equipping staff to develop highly capable students of Christian character.
Our mission is to provide excellence in education so that students are well known, well loved, and well taught by dedicated trained Christian staff.
We're part of a network of 17 schools across 5 states, and we're the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for student management, curriculum, administrative and pastoral oversight, and leadership to our Junior School for Years K-6. They must model an understanding and strong commitment to Christian Education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage student enrollment, attendance, and behavior
- Develop and implement curriculum plans aligned with our Teaching and Learning Framework
- Lead administrative and pastoral teams to support student wellbeing
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and NESA teacher accreditation
- Open affirmation, ownership, and practice of the Christian faith
- Demonstrated team-oriented, collegial, and collaborative Christian leadership
- Implementation and monitoring of a Christ-centered and Bible-based curriculum
- Knowledge of current syllabus documents and proven ability to develop contemporary teaching and learning programs
- Demonstrated ability in using technology and data in the learning process
- An understanding of and commitment to student wellbeing
