About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Director for our State of the Art Childcare Centre in Wauchope, Mid North Coast Region, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the Centre, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for the children in our community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the daily operations and management of the Centre, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  2. Providing strong leadership and support to the educators, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture
  3. Developing and implementing engaging educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children
  4. Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, the local community, and key stakeholders
  5. Ensuring the Centre provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children
  6. Managing the Centre's financial operations and reporting
  7. Driving continuous improvement and innovation within the Centre

What we're looking for:

  1. Experience in a senior leadership role within the childcare industry with a Diploma or Degree qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  2. Demonstrated expertise in the planning and implementation of high-quality educational programs.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and the community.
  4. Strong leadership and management abilities, including the capacity to effectively lead and develop a team.
  5. Thorough understanding of relevant childcare regulations, laws, policies, and quality standards.
  6. Commitment to continuous professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
