Leading a team of architects in a project management role involves driving projects to meet design, profitability, and deadline objectives. Responsibilities
  • Manages technical aspects of projects, delegates tasks, and ensures timely completion according to schedules.
  • Reviews project teams' work, verifies quality, and evaluates sub-consultants' performance.
  • Develops business opportunities, maintains client relationships, negotiates contracts, and presents proposals.
  • Contributes to ongoing team performance evaluation, training, and selection of key personnel.
  • Experience designing K–12 schools, higher education campuses, and specialty learning environments with adaptability to diverse learning methods and future changes.
  • Maintains knowledge of building codes, fire safety standards, accessibility requirements, security measures, and emergency planning protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  • At least 8 years of experience with demonstrated leadership skills, successful team leadership, profit/loss capability, and project management responsibility.
  • Architectural License in the United States (or eligibility for reciprocity) required, or other related discipline certification or license.
