Overview
As a Senior Food and Beverage Manager at Hyatt Place Melbourne, you will lead the Food and Beverage team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth. The role is responsible for managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and presentation.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor staff performance, providing coaching and training as needed;
- Implement daily procedures for opening and closing the restaurant, adhering to company policies and procedures;
- Maintain high production, productivity, and customer-service standards;
- Follow and ensure Hotel policies and procedures are implemented;
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly;
- Ensure all work areas, both front of house and back of house, are clean and in working order.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated supervisory leadership experience in a similar environment, preferably in a 5-star hotel or restaurant;
- Excellent customer service skills aligned to industry standards;
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with guests at all levels;
- Exceptional grooming standards;
- Ability to work across a 7-day rotating roster, including late nights, weekends, and public holidays;
- Leadership qualities to motivate and coach staff;
- Basic understanding of financials such as COGs and labour costs, preferred but not essential;
- Able to work in Australia without restrictions;
- Effective time management and multitasking skills with the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.
Estimated Salary: AU $60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
