Permanent Part-time Opportunity for a Sterilising Technician

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sterilising Technician to join our team at St George Private Hospital in Queensland, Australia.

This is a critical role that requires the reprocessing of surgical instruments and medical equipment for the Endoscopy department. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate 3 qualification in Sterilising Services and prior experience working in a Sterilising Unit and/or reprocessing endoscopes.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing timely reprocessing of endoscopes and auxiliary equipment, ensuring consistency and continuous workflow between the various endoscopy suites and CSSD. They will also provide exceptional customer service and maintain high operational standards of the Endoscopy department.

In this role, you will work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines, practising excellent time management skills and attention to detail. You will also be expected to work independently as required and effectively alongside your team.
