Sleep Technologist Opportunity

The Mater Hospital South Brisbane Sleep and Respiratory Unit requires a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to conduct sleep investigations, monitor patients, and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Set up and monitor polysomnographic equipment during overnight shifts
- Perform sleep investigations, including treatment initiation and titration
- Utilize resources efficiently to contribute to quality and cost-effective practices
- Participate in quality and service improvement activities
- Collaborate with administrative, technical, nursing, scientific, or medical staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated experience performing sleep investigations
- Current blue card or ability to obtain one
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Applied Science, or equivalent
- Post-graduate qualification in sleep or clinical physiology highly regarded
