Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a part-time Category Management Specialist role. The successful candidate will provide expert category management advice and services, helping to maximize commercial outcomes while managing risk and ensuring safety.

In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting research and supply market analysis to develop commercially advantageous sourcing strategies. You'll partner with stakeholders and leadership to align sourcing strategies with corporate goals and maintain a strong understanding of business process value chains and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities include leading commercial negotiations, working closely with Legal on contract departures and agreements, and acting as the client's representative on notices, variations, amendments, and disputes. You'll also coach and mentor colleagues on category management processes and manage supplier performance and contract outcomes for large and complex arrangements.
