Senior Water Infrastructure ExpertWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Infrastructure Expert to join our team in Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a strong background in water infrastructure planning and design.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in process selection for water treatment plants, advanced expertise in design, commissioning, operations, or project management of water treatment assets, and a proven track record in planning and design of seawater desalination plants and new source investigations.Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake and coordinate complex investigations, conceptual planning, and financial analysis for assessment, design, development, and remedial works of allocated infrastructure assets.
  • Develop and maintain engineering design criteria, design standards, and manuals for specific infrastructure design functions within agreed time constraints.
  • Provide high-level specialist technical advice on water treatment-related engineering criteria and design standards.
  • Develop and maintain modelling capability and protocols in process and/or hydraulic modelling of water treatment plants.
  • Prepare job briefs for consultant engagement and evaluate proposals.
  • Represent the organization in consultations and negotiations with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualification and strong background in water infrastructure planning and design.
  • Substantial experience in process selection for water treatment plants and advanced expertise in design, commissioning, operations, or project management of water treatment assets.
  • Proven track record in planning and design of seawater desalination plants and new source investigations.
