About the Job

A key member of a dynamic team, providing expert support for the delivery of projects through effective sourcing and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive world-class sourcing and administration of contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
  • Select and negotiate optimal commercial pricing models to minimize risks and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Draft high-quality tender and contract documents to clarify expectations and prevent disputes.
  • Influence procurement strategy selection, considering fixed lump sum, cost reimbursable, and target cost options.
  • Provide proactive contract management support to project teams throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Monitor contractor and contract performance, reporting on key metrics such as spend, analytics, variations, claims management, and off-contract spend.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, serving as a trusted expert and leading negotiations with vendors.
About You

You will have experience in construction projects procurement, working collaboratively with project teams, holding a tertiary qualification (Quantity Surveying/procurement, engineering, business, law), or similar. Alternatively, you may have experience on the contractor side (engineering/technical consultancies or construction) with a demonstrated understanding of project delivery.
