An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Financial Services Specialist to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial billing systems.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain accurate records and information related to billing and collection, with a focus on rates and payment processing.
- Process building permits, ensuring timely issuance of notices, invoices, and statements to clients.
- Manage daily payment file processing and direct debit transactions for agencies.
- Develop and monitor payment arrangements for approved debtors and oversee debt recovery efforts.
- Collaborate with external collection agencies to resolve outstanding debts.
**Requirements and Qualifications:**
- Proven understanding of billing control procedures and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience in debt collection and associated processes.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to discuss and resolve customer inquiries.
- Prior experience in providing exceptional customer service in a similar-sized organization.
- Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate within a team environment.
We are seeking an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident who is willing to undergo a current National Criminal Records Check.
