Financial Services Specialist

The role of the Financial Services Specialist is central to the day-to-day operations of the banking and settlements team, being one of the first points of receipt for transactions from the Front Office.
">This position provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment where you will be responsible for the provision of banking and settlement services, safe custody of securities holdings, and the maintenance of appropriate banking arrangements.
">Key responsibilities include:
">- Reviewing and forwarding settlement confirmations to clients;
- Processing daily cash sweep;
To succeed in this role, you will need:
">- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, preferably in Business, Commerce, or Finance;
- Successful completion of VCE is required for the role;
- A basic understanding of Treasury and Financial Markets;
- A basic understanding of financial instruments including derivatives;
