Key Finance Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting the Financial Controller across our Australia and New Zealand operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end, year-end, budget, and forecast submissions.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants, overseeing audits and tax compliance for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Oversee accounting operations, cash flow management, and statutory obligations.
  • Partner with senior management and operational leaders to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and best practice accounting compliance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of four to achieve key deadlines and KPIs.
  • Contribute to strategic projects, including financial modelling, property forecasting, and M&A activities.
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA qualified with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • 7+ years' experience in a mid-to-large corporate environment (retail, travel, tourism, or services industry highly regarded).
  • Strong technical expertise in audit, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Proven experience in managing audits, financial statements, and budgeting processes.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
