About the Role

We are currently seeking an APS3 Participant Support Officer to join our client's Complex Supports Needs Branch. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in supporting participants with complex needs and ensuring they receive the best possible services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Action planning tasks as per the NDIS Act to resolve participant matters and improve outcomes
  • Provide counter/reception support for the local office, including responding to participant enquiries and providing information on available services
  • Resolve customer enquiries and refer customers to relevant government or community services when necessary
  • Manage the shared email inbox, appointments, and telephone enquiries for the team
  • Coordinate appointments using agency facilities and ensure accessibility for participants
  • Conduct research and investigations, preparing reports and correspondence as required
  • Complete data entry activities and follow up as necessary
  • Record and manage complaints and feedback through business systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in reception or a related field
  • Disability or government background considered an asset

Eligibility and Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police History check and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.

Salary and Benefits

This is a 12-month contract with potential beyond, offering a competitive hourly rate of $37.36 + Superannuation. The successful candidate will be based in Berwick, requiring 5 days on-site work per week.
