Salary Package

Job Description

The AOD & Mental Health Worker position is part of our multidisciplinary team at The Living Room Primary Health service. As a strengths-based practitioner, you will work with clients experiencing multiple and complex needs to provide therapeutic interventions and reduce the frequency and severity of mental health crises.

You will conduct crisis interventions, structure and semi-structured counselling sessions, and refer clients to relevant services. This role also involves providing secondary consults to clinical and non-clinical staff to develop coordinated care plans.

Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in AOD and/or MH treatment provision working with clients with multiple and complex needs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of homelessness, housing, and health sectors, including mental health and AOD.
