We are seeking a skilled Corporate Finance Manager to lead our Mergers and Acquisitions team in Melbourne. As a key member of our Corporate Finance division, you will oversee multiple projects and staff, reporting directly to the leadership team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded professional with a passion for corporate finance and a strong track record in M&A execution. You will have the opportunity to influence a wide variety of M&A projects with differing levels of complexity for various client types across a wide range of industries.
- Lead Advisory - end to end M&A and lead IPO execution (including target list, databook and information memorandum preparation, financial due diligence and data room management, participate in transaction negotiations and stakeholder management);
- Work across sell-side, buy-side, capital raising (debt and equity) and strategic advice;
- Take ownership of deliverables and complete them effectively in the timeframe required;
- Manage, develop and work collaboratively with junior members of the team;
- Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships; and
- Assist with deal origination and the preparation of proposals, engagements and pitch documents.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business, Commerce, Law or Economics and 3-5 years' experience in M&A within a top-tier/mid-tier accounting firm, investment bank or boutique advisory. They will also have proven experience managing multiple M&A projects from inception to completion and possess strong analytical, commercial and critical thinking skills.
