About the Opportunity

At Liverpool Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our Geriatric Medicine Department as an Advanced Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional to develop their expertise in Geriatric Medicine while providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in Geriatric Medicine, in a complex clinical environment.
  • To work independently within a supervised clinical environment using excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
  • To develop expertise in Geriatric Medicine and provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
  • Ambitious and motivated medical professional with an MBBS or equivalent qualification, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated commitment to training in Geriatric Medicine and previous experience in Aged Care Medicine.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
