Overview:

Our organisation is seeking a strategic leader to oversee the operations and strategy of our purpose-built residential housing portfolio in Hobart, Tasmania.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the Value Creation Plan to drive occupancy and revenue growth. ">
  • Oversee operational performance, including refurbishment, reconfiguration, and facilities management projects. ">
  • Monitor service providers for compliance with statutory, contractual, and regulatory requirements. ">
  • Enhance data visibility and reporting to inform commercial decisions. ">
  • Represent the business externally through stakeholder engagement and market presence. ">

Requirements:

We are looking for a strategic operator with experience in property or residential asset management, skilled at balancing operational delivery with stakeholder engagement and growth initiatives.

Key qualifications include:

  • ">
  • Proven leadership in operational real estate, ideally PBSA, purpose-built residential, or education-linked infrastructure. ">
  • Experience in turnaround, performance improvement, and complex stakeholder management. ">
  • Commercial acumen with revenue growth and cost management experience; familiarity with private equity or fund-owned platforms preferred. ">
  • Strong strategic mindset, execution capability, and financial literacy. ">
  • Collaborative leader with excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills. ">
