Fixed Plant Maintenance Specialist

The CHPP Mechanical Maintainer will perform all mechanical maintenance functions within the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP), minimizing downtime whilst demonstrating a strong commitment to health, safety and the environment.
- Providing safe and efficient assistance to enhance the operation of our assets.
- Performing mechanical fault finding and diagnostics work at the CHPP.
- Inspecting, maintaining and repairing mechanical fixed plant in accordance with relevant procedures and legislation.
- Mechanical Trade Qualification required.
- At least 3 years of experience in fixed plant operations.
- Industrial experience in conducting maintenance inspections, industrial installations, fault finding and repair of equipment including yard machines and conveying equipment is advantageous.
- Prior experience in coal handling and processing plants is beneficial.
- Competencies in working at heights, confined space and elevated work platform are an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities are essential.
- Able to liaise with key stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team is desirable.
