As part of our program, you'll receive necessary tools, TAFE accommodation and additional support if required.The roster is Monday - Friday, working a 9-day fortnightYou will be responsible for supporting the reliability and safety of Northparkes' Fixed Plant operations by learning to maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as crushers, conveyors, and pumps.Key responsibilities:Assisting with inspecting and maintaining fixed plant machineryLearning to diagnose faults and performing mechanical repairsSupporting preventative maintenance activitiesMaintaining workshop housekeeping and safety standardsAttending TAFE and completing formal training requirementsCommitting to maintaining health, safety and security standardsDemonstrating behaviours aligned with Evolution Mining valuesAbout youYou are a hands-on individual with a genuine interest in mechanical systems and a strong commitment to safety.
You have completed or are completing Year 12 and hold a current driver's licence.
You are eager to learn, work safely, and contribute to a team that values excellence and respect.
You can communicate clearly, follow instructions well, and are comfortable using basic digital tools.
Whether through school, hobbies, or personal projects, you've shown initiative and a can-do attitude.
