About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team in Brisbane. As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between Brisbane Airport and our Branch at Eagle Farm.

This role involves working full time on a rotating roster across Monday – Sunday 7am – 7pm with flexibility to work extended hours if required, as well as public holidays.

The successful candidate will need to have or be willing to obtain a QLD Driver Accreditation which includes a full medical prior to commencing employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick up and drop off passengers between the airport and the branch in the shuttle bus including assisting passengers with their luggage in and out of the vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service by meeting and greeting customers as you pick up and drop off; finding prompt resolutions to any feedback or issues raised.
  • Assist with the detailing of passenger and commercial vehicles, both internally and externally to meet company standards ensuring the highest presentation of all vehicles.
  • Perform safety and damage checks on all vehicles prior to pick up and after drop off, completing the Vehicle Detailer checklist form to ensure that everything is in good working order.
  • Ensure that fuel tank is full, kilometre reading is accurate and check service due dates.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of the yards including the wash bay areas.
  • Assist with the movement of fleet between locations following safe driving practices.
  • Ensure all Workplace Health and Safety requirements are followed to maintain a zero-harm workplace.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, both driving passengers as well as maintaining the interior and exterior of vehicles and yard maintenance/presentation.
  • Current open driver's license with no restrictions and a good driving record is a must, preferably with a Manual License; HR, MR or HC license highly advantageous.
  • QLD Drivers Accreditation (or willingness to obtain at own cost prior to start date, reimbursed after 6 months of employment).
  • Basic – Intermediate Computer skills required to access information and complete online forms/checklists/uploading photos of vehicles.
  • Excellent customer service and problem resolution skills.
  • Own reliable transport to get to and from work.
  • Strong ability to work unsupervised, with a strong work ethic, sense of responsibility & accountability.
  • Ability to multitask, be highly organised with strong attention to detail.
