Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Economic Growth Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development of economic growth strategies to increase employment and wages in Victoria.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to deliver timely insights and policy advice to government and senior management on policy options to increase productivity across the state's economy and living standards for all Victorians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement economic growth strategies to drive employment and wage growth in Victoria.
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance to government and senior management on policy options to increase productivity and economic growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify and analyze complex economic policy problems and develop solutions.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders, including providing strategic advice and representing our views at inter-departmental meetings and forums.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong understanding of economic policy issues and the Victorian economy.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing economic growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
